Tasting Notes:

A simple Friday dinner of polenta and sausage deserved an unpretentious red wine. This wine fits that bill.

It's a dark deep purple in the glass with scents of blueberry, anise, and mint. In the mouth it's very jammy with black berry flavors dominating. There is enough acid to balance the fruit, but not much in the way of tannins.

This is a very good every day wine, but not something I can really recommend because of the price. At this price point, you can get something a little more complex and interesting. And at the price point below you can get something almost as delicious and quaffable.
