Tasting Notes:
As I drink more and more riesling from around the world I find my palate becoming more and more discriminating. What I once drank and quite liked, I know see as slightly flawed. This isn't a bad wine. I quite liked it the first time I had it. It's pleasantly off dry. This time however, I just couldn't coax out enough acidity to make me happy. It could be that the bottle was just too old, the 2007's should be around now. But rather than take a chance, I'll focus my riesling dollars elsewhere.

Tasting Notes:
This is a very fruity wine, with almost no tannins to speak of. A very pleasant, if not completely serious cabernet.

Tasting Notes:
Kathrine decided to make shrimp and grits. Now you wouldn't normally think that one would drink wine with that, but I figured a nice off-dry riesling would be perfect.
This is a great off-dry riesling. It has the standard pale straw color. It has the classic peach, apricot, and honeysuckle aromas. It has flavors of citrus, peach, and honey. It has a great acid backbone to balance out the sweetness. In other words, this is simply a well made wine. It's not going to blow your mind, but for the price it's quite outstanding.
You'll pay much more for something not much better. You'll get something worse for not much less.
